"Shallow Breathing," 1989, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania, USA.
This installation was sited in a long darkened room with a high ceiling. Carolyn Healy's dream-like sculpture contained small colored lights which changed slowly using a digital sequencer / lighting controller. John Phillips created a 23-minute audiotape loop which played continuously through eight speakers throughout the installation. |
